CHARLOTTE, NC - Charlotte 49ers women's tennis player sophomore Laura Swain is currently ranked #28 in the Southeast Region. She becomes the first 49ers women's tennis player to be regionally ranked since Farah Khursheed was ranked #27 in 1991.

Last season, Swain earned third-team All-Conference USA honors becoming the first player in the program's history to earn All-Conference USA honors. She won 11 singles matches last season playing either number one or two singles for the 49ers.

The Southeast Region is comprised of every Division I school from North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky and Tennessee.
