CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Second-year women's tennis coach Terry Ann Zawacki-Woods is pleased to announce that Marilyn Clark and Ashleigh Murray have signed national letters of intent to play collegiate tennis at Charlotte.

"We are thrilled about Marilyn and Ashleigh joining our program next fall," Zawacki-Woods said. "I was extremely impressed with their disposition and their excitement toward Charlotte during the recruiting process. We will expect them to make a positive impact on our program and help us reach the goals we are striving for at Charlotte."

Clark is a senior at East Chapel Hill High School in North Carolina. She helped lead East Chapel Hill to four consecutive 3A state championships. Individually, she won two state doubles titles (one with her sister, Tiphanie) and was a semifinalist in this year's singles state tournament.

Murray is a senior at Harrison High School in Acworth, Georgia. She has been ranked eighth in Georgia in juniors. She is a ranked in the Top 25 juniors in the Southern Section and in the nation's Top 150 in singles. She has been ranked fourth in Georgia in doubles.
