HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Charlotte lost to Saint Louis, 4-0, in their first match of the Conference USA Tournament backdraw.

In number one singles, Charlotte's Alice Hansen and Saint Louis' Jayasaree Kuruvilla match did not finish.

In number two singles, Charlotte's Lauren Hastings lost to Saint Louis' Julie Siemers, 6-1, 6-0.

In number three singles, Charlotte's Stacie Luders lost to Saint Louis' Vicki Ziekinski, 6-1, 6-0.

In number four singles, Charlotte's Bailey Gainey and Saint Louis' Ingrid Habony match did not finish.

In number five singles, Charlotte's Kelly Rue lost to Saint Louis' Erin Kersten, 6-0, 6-2.

In number six singles, Charlotte's Alison Lacy and Saint Louis' Heather Holzgrafe match did not finish.

In number one doubles, Charlotte's Hastings and Luders lost to Saint Louis' Kuruvilla and Zielinski, 8-5.

In number two doubles, Charlotte's Gainey and Hansen lost to Saint Louis' Kerster and Siemers, 8-5.

In number three doubles, Charlotte's Rue and Lacy lost to Saint Louis' Habony and Holzgrafe, 8-2.
