GREENSBORO, NC - The Charlotte 49ers women's tennis team lost a hard fought match at UNC Greensboro, 4-3. This match is the 49ers final regular season road match of the season. Charlotte's Laura Swain, Alice Hansen and Stice Luders won their respective singles matches.

UNC Greensboro won two of the three doubles matches to claim the doubles point. In number one doubles, Charlotte's Alice Hansen and Laura Swain lost to UNC Greensboro's Peel and Orellana, 9-7. In number two doubles, Charlotte's Jana Cucciniello and Jennifer Hatch defeated UNC Greensboro's LaCoste and Wisinski, 8-3. In number three doubles, Charlotte's Courtney Clifford and Stacie Luders lost to UNC Greensboro's Eutzler and Kannan, 8-2.

Charlotte won three of the six singles matches. In number one singles, Charlotte's Swain defeated UNC Greensboro's Orellana, 6-2, 6-4. In number two singles, Charlotte's Hansen defeated UNC Greensboro's Peel, 7-5, 1-6, 7-5. In number three singles, Charlotte's Cucciniello lost to UNC Greensboro's Kannan, 6-1, 6-1. In number four singles, Charlotte's Hatch lost to UNC Greensboro's LaCoste, 6-2, 6-0. In number five singles, Charlotte's Lauren Hastings lost to UNC Greensboro's Eutzler, 6-4, 7-6. In number six singles, Charlotte's Luders defeated UNC Greensboro's Wisinski, 6-4, 6-3.
