CHARLOTTE, NC - The Charlotte women's tennis team lost to Campbell, 5-2, at the D.L. Phillips Tennis Complex.

Charlotte won two of the three doubles matches to claim the doubles point. In number one doubles, Charlotte's Alice Hansen and Laura Swain lost to Campbell's Stockinger and Doncheva, 8-3. In number two doubles, Charlotte's Jana Cucciniello and Jennifer Hatch defeated Campbell's Declercq and Erb by default. In number three doubles, Charlotte's Lauren Hastings and Stacie Luders defeated Campbell's Gore and Hughes, 8-1.

Campbell won five of the six singles matches to win the match. In number one singles, Charlotte's Hansen lost to Campbell's Doncheva, 6-3, 6-2. In number two singles, Charlotte's Swain lost to Campbell's Stockinger, 6-3, 6-0. In number three singles, Charlotte's Cucciniello lost to Campbell's Linder, 6-2, 6-4. In number four singles, Charlotte's Hatch lost to Campbell's Declercq, 4-6, 6-1, 6-3. In number five singles, Charlotte's Hastings lost to Campbell's Erb, 6-1, 6-1. In number six singles, Charlotte's Courtney Clifford defeated Campbell's Hughes, 6-2, 6-1.
