CLEMSON, SC - The Charlotte women's tennis team lost to ACC foe Clemson, 7-0. Charlotte has played five of their last six matches ons the road.

Clemson swept the doubles matches to claim the doubles point. In number one doubles, Charlotte's Alice Hansen and Laura Swain lost to Clemson's Jayet and Lacelarie, 8-5. In number two doubles, Charlotte's Jana Cucciniello and Jennifer Hatch lost to Clemson's Dolinska and Savitskaya, 8-4. In number three doubles, Charlotte's Lauren Hastings and Stacie Luders lost to Clemson's LeSaldo and Stiglic, 8-5.

Clemson won all six singles matches. In number one singles, Charlotte's Hansen lost to Clemson's Lacelarie, 6-0, 6-1. In number two singles, Charlotte's Swain lost to Clemson's Savitskaya, 6-2, 6-3. In number three singles, Charlotte's Cucciniello lost to Clemson's Paun, 6-3, 6-2. In number four singles, Charlotte's Hatch lost to Clemson's Stiglic, 6-0, 6-1. In number five singles, Charlotte's Hastings lost to Clemson's Jayet, 6-1, 6-2. In number six singles, Charlotte's Courtney Clifford lost to Clemson's Stanoycheva, 6-3, 6-0.
