Charlotte, NC - Charlotte defeats Presbyterian 4-3 in women's tennis action at the D.L. Phillips Tennis Complex.

In number one singles, Alice Hansen defeated Presbyterian's Rachel Key, 6-3, 7-6.

In number two singles, Gina Craig lost to Presbyterian's Sunny Armstrong, 6-0, 6-0.

In number three singles, Lauren Hastings defeated Presbyterian's Clayton McGee, 6-2, 2-6, 6-3.

In number four singles, Stacie Luders lost to Presbyterian's Heather Combs, 6-4, 6-2.

In number five singles, Bailey Gainey defeated Presbyterian's Kelly Fitzpatrick, 6-2, 6-2.

In number six singles, Kelly Rue lost to Presbyterian's Lauren Ingle, 7-5, 6-0.

In doubles action, Charlotte won all three matches.

In number one doubles, Hansen and Hastings defeated Presbyterian's Armstrong and McGee, 8-6.

In number two doubles, Craig and Luders defeated Presbyterian's Fitzpatrick and Key, 8-3.

In number three doubles, Gainey and Rue defeated Presbyterian's Ingle and Allison Merritt, 9-7.

The 49ers return to action, when they host UNC Asheville, Tuesday, February 27 at 2 pm.
