Bownen pitched a five inning no-hitter to earn a win over Siena last week. She only allowed two batters to reach base in a game that Charlotte won 9-0. Bowen hit the first batter and then another batter reached base on a Charlotte fielding error. She recorded 4 strikeouts in the game.

Later in the week against Sacred Heart, Bowen threw another complete game, allowing just one earned run in seven innings while striking out 11.

For the week, Kristen had a 0.58 ERA with two wins in two starts, both complete games. She only allowed one earned run over 12 innings, with two walks and 15 strikeouts. She improved to 12-2 overall on the season.
