RALEIGH, N.C. - The Charlotte 49ers softball team won all three games it played on Sunday, defeating Temple, George Mason and UNC Wilmington, on the final day of the Triangle Classic.

Charlotte (5-2) opened the day with a strong outing, beating Temple, 8-0, in five innings. Stephanie Dunlap powered the 49ers' offense with a three-run home run. Her home run moved her up to first on the school's career list. Melanie Thevenote also went yard for the Niners.

In the second game, Charlotte picked up the victory, shutting out George Mason, 3-0. Shannon Carson picked up her first career win.

The 49ers ended the day with a win over UNC Wilmington, 6-2.
