CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Charlotte 49ers women's soccer midfielder Kim Miles (Raleigh, N.C./Leesville Road) has been honored as the Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week for the final week of the season, October 29 - November 4.

In the team's only match of the week, Miles scored the game-winning goal at East Carolina on Friday, November 2, as the 49ers clinched the #3 seed in the upcoming Conference USA Tournament. The goal by Miles was her second in as many games, as she also scored in Charlotte's home finale versus Louisville on October 28. On the season, she is third on the team with 23 shots, while recording six points on two goals and two assists. Five of her six points have come against conference opponents.

The 49ers (9-6-3, 7-2-1 C-USA) will next play on Wednesday, November 7 versus East Carolina in the opening round of the Conference USA Tournament in Milwaukee, Wis. Charlotte enters the tournament as the #3 seed, while the Pirates will be the #6 seed.
