CHARLOTTE - The Charlotte 49ers women's soccer team continues its three-game homestand Friday, September 21, when they host Houston at 7:00 p.m., in the Conference USA opener for both schools. The 49ers have won their last two matches to improve to 2-2-1. This past Tuesday, the 49ers opened their 2001 home schedule with a 2-1 triumph over rival Davidson.

Also on Friday, the Charlotte volleyball program opens its conference slate with a match versus Cincinnati at 7:00 p.m. The Niners, who own a four-match winning streak, are currently 6-2 on the season, which equals their best start since 1996. Tuesday night, Charlotte blanked Charleston Southern, 3-0. The Cardinals of Louisville invade Halton Arena, Saturday at 7:00 p.m. to conclude the Conference USA volleyball weekend.

All Charlotte 49er students are admitted free to 49er athletic events, with valid I.D.
