Women's Soccer Hosting Charlotte Classic This Weekend

CHARLOTTE, NC - The Charlotte 49ers Women's Soccer team is hosting the Charlotte Classic Soccer Tournament this weekend at Transamerica Field, September 6-8. East Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia Tech will be joining the 49ers in the Classic.
The women's soccer team (1-0) kicked off their season with a 3-2 overtime win over Davidson last Friday. The 49ers face South Carolina (2-0) in their home opener, which is the second game of the Charlotte Classic, Friday at 7:30 pm. East Carolina (2-0) and Virginia Tech (1-0, Play tonight in Williamsburg VA) will play in the first game at 5:00 pm. The Classic will conclude action on Sunday with South Carolina facing East Carolina at 12:00 pm. The 49ers face Virginia Tech in the final game at 2:30.
Admission to Friday's games is $3 for adults and free for youth 17 and under . Admission to Sunday's games is $3 for adults and $1 for youth 17 and under. Charlotte 49ers student receive free admission both days.
