MILWAUKEE - Charlotte women's soccer loses at #17 Marquette, 1-0, in Conference USA women's soccer action. This result ends Charlotte's seven match unbeaten streak.

Marquette scored the match's only goal when Erin Maysent scored off an assist from Kate Gordon at the 53:38 mark of the match.

Charlotte goalkeeper Jenn Howell had five saves in the loss.

Charlotte falls to 6-3-2 overall and 4-1 in Conference USA. While Marquette improves to 9-2 overall and 5-0 in Conference USA.

Charlotte continues their road trip at Conference USA foe DePaul, Sunday, October 14.
