Pam Brown was named athlete of the week after scoring 26 points and grabbing 11 rebounds in two Atlantic 10 victories by the women's basketball team last week. The two wins pushed the 49ers winning streak to ten games.

The senior forward scored 11 points and grabbed three rebounds in only twelve minutes of action in the 49ers' 73-39 home victory over St. Bonaventure last Friday.

Then, she scored 15 points and grabbed eight rebounds in leading the 49ers to a 79-72 road win at Duquesne last Sunday.

Brown and the rest of the 49ers women's basketball team have now won ten straight games and continue to lead the Atlantic 10 with an 18-5 overall record and an 11-1 mark in the A-10. The 49ers battle A-10 foe Richmond on the road this Friday, February 17 at 7 pm. Then, the 49ers host Saint Louis in Halton Arena, Sunday, February 19 at 2 pm.
