LAS VEGAS - Constance Jinks scored 17 points to lead UNLV to a 60-55 victory over the Charlotte 49ers women's basketball team Saturday in the championship of the UNLV Rebel Shootout.

Charlotte (1-3) led by as many as 11 in the second half, but UNLV (3-0) battled back to tie the game at 46-46 on a Petra Glaser layup with 7:07 left to play. Tara Harris pulled the 49ers to within three points with 42 seconds left, Glaser scored again for the Runnin' Rebels with 16 seconds remaining to provide the final 60-55 margin.

Tonya Phifer was named to the all-tournament team along with teammate Alicia Abernathy. Phifer was held to 11 points in the championship game, but averaged 21.5 for the tournament with her 32-point outing in the win over St. John's. Abernathy averaged 12 points in the two games.
