Sept. 26, 2005

Charlotte, N.C. - Charlotte 49ers athletics and Yahoo! Sports are proud to announce the debut of The Jim Boykin Show.

New for 2005, The Jim Boykin Show is an opportunity to get the coach's thoughts on the previous week's tournaments or dual matches, a preview of what's coming up for the team, and other thoughts about the men's tennis program. From time-to-time the show will feature current student-athletes, and there is the possibility for coach to answer questions submitted by you - the fans.

The program is aired over the internet as part of the Charlotte 49ers subscription-based multimedia package through Yahoo! Sports.

The Charlotte 49ers School Pass, which costs $4.95 per month, gives fans access to weekly coaches shows for each of the school's 16 varsity sports, 49er Sports Update news videos, highlight videos, post-game press conferences, and live in-game audio feeds for men's and women's basketball and other selected events.
