Davidson, N.C. -

The doubles pair of Jesse Hutchinson and Jeff Archer won two of its three matches at number-two doubles against Appalachian State and Furman at the Jim Causey / Davidson Invitational Men's Tennis Tournament this weekend.

The pair won 8-4 against ASU and 8-1 over the Paladin pair, dropping an 8-6 decision to the Davidson number-two pair this weekend.

On the singles side, Archer also won two of his three matches at number-six, with Moritz Bernhoerster also claiming a pair of singles victories in the number-three seed.

The MidEast Regional in Charlottesville, Va. is the next slated action for the Niners. The tournament begins on Wednesday, October 17.
