Charlottesville, Va. - The Charlotte 49ers men's tennis program got the 2007-2008 season underway by sending competitors to the University of Virginia Invitational over the weekend. Individuals Roy Sichel and Felix Bernhoerster both recorded wins during the tournament to get their years started.

The Virginia pair started their march to the A-1 title, with the 8-2 win over the Charlotte pair. A doubles pair from Old Dominion won the consolation match versus the Bernhoerster and Clinard.
