NEW ORLEANS - Charlotte lost to second seed Tulane, 4-1, in the semifinals of the Conference USA Tournament.
In number one singles, Charlotte's Ola Jonsson lost to Tulane's Michael Kogan, 6-3, 6-2.
In number two singles, Charlotte's Jacob Nordwall lost to Tulane's Victor Romero, 7-6, 6-2.
In number three singles, Charlotte's Joakim Peterson and Tulane's Mikko Viljanen did not finish their match. The score was 4-6, 6-1, 1-0 when play was suspended.
In number four singles, Charlotte's Thomas Oggesen and Tulane's Jorge Lievano did not finish their match.
In number five singles, Charlotte's Jonathan McGovern defeated Tulane's Derya Rose, 6-2, 6-1.
In number six singles, Charlotte's David Bolin lost to Tulane's Mattias Westerberg, 6-4, 6-1.
In number one doubles, Charlotte's Nordwall and Peterson lost to Tulane's Kogan and Viljanen, 8-3.
In number two doubles, Charlotte's Jonsson and Oggesen and Tulane's Goran Vasiljevic and Westerberg did not finish their match.
In number three doubles, Charlotte's Simon Dawson and McGovern lost to Tulane's Leivano and Romero, 8-5.
Charlotte will face the loser of the South Florida-Louisville in the third place match, Sunday, April 22.
