CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Charlotte 49ers men's tennis team netted its second straight win, defeating local rival Winthrop, 5-2, Saturday morning.
Charlotte (8-7) got off to a strong start, winning two of three doubles matches to claim their first point. The 49ers clinched the match in singles play, winning four of six matches. Ola Jonsson, Jacob Nordwall and Thomas Oggesen each won their matches in straight sets.
