COLUMBIA, S.C. - Charlotte lost at #39 South Carolina, 4-3. The 49ers upset then #14 South Carolina, 3-2, last season.

In number one singles, Charlotte's Ola Jonsson lost to South Carolina's Guillaume Legat, 6-1, 6-3.

In number two singles, Charlotte's Jacob Nordwall defeated South Carolina's Seth Rose, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4.

In number three singles, Charlotte's Joakim Peterson lost to South Carolina's David Nelson, 6-2, 6-4.

In number four singles, Charlotte's Thomas Oggesen defeated South Carolina's Marcus Westman, 7-5, 6-2.

In number five singles, Charlotte's Simon Dawson lost to South Carolina's Carl Wermee, 6-2, 6-4.

In number six singles, Charlotte's David Bolin lost to South Carolina's Rodrigo Pacheco, 6-3, 6-2.

In number one doubles, Charlotte's Nordwall and Peterson defeated South Carolina's Legat and Nelson, 8-3.

In number two doubles, Charlotte's Jonsson and Oggesen defeated South Carolina's Rose and Westman, 8-1.

In number three doubles, Charlotte's Jonathan McGovern and Bolin lost to South Carolina's Pacheco and Wermee, 8-6.
