Charleston, SC - The men's tennis team lost at Charleston Southern, 4-3.

The 49ers beat Charleston Southern at home, 6-1, last season.

In number one singles, Charlotte's Ola Jonsson defeated Charleston Southern's Tomas Miho, 7-5, 6-4.

In number two singles, Charlotte's Jacob Nordwall lost to Charleston Southern's Sandeep Yen-Reddy, 6-2, 6-2.

In number three singles, Charlotte's Joakim Peterson defeated Charleston Southern's Rodrigo Villarrael, 6-4, 6-2.

In number four singles, Charlotte's Thomas Oggesen defeated Charleston Southern's Rohan Wadehra, 7-5, 7-6.

In number five singles, Charlotte's Simon Dawson lost to Charleston Southern's Ariel Furfuro, 4-6, 7-6, 6-2.

In number six singles, Charlotte's Jess Rutledge lost to Charleston Southern's Santiago Falla, 6-2, 6-0.

In number one doubles, Charlotte's Jonsson and Oggesen lost to Charleston Southern's Miho and Wadehra, 8-3.

In number two doubles, Charlotte's Nordwall and Peterson lost to Charleston Southern's Fufuro and Villarael, 8-4.

In number three doubles, Charlotte's Jonathan McGovern and Rutledge lost to Charleston Southern's Reddy and Soufane Rechag, 8-6.
