Charlotte, NC - The Charlotte 49ers men's soccer team (3-2), who had an impressive 5-1 win over Davidson in their last game, host instate rival UNC Greensboro (2-1-2) at Transamerica Field, Wednesday, September 19 at 7 pm.
The 49ers five goals against Davidson was the most goals scored by the 49ers against Davidson in the program's history. Charlotte's five goals are the most scored by the 49ers since scoring six goals against Saint Joseph's last October.
Junior Chris Salvaggione and sophomore Luke Exley lead the 49ers in scoring with three goals apiace. Salvaggione and Exley each scored a goal against Davidson.
UNC Greensboro will be the fourth straight Southern Conference opponent that the 49ers have played. The 49ers lead the all-time series with UNC Greensboro, 6-5.
Admission to the game is $5 for adults and youth (17-and-under) are $2. Charlotte 49ers students with a valid student ID are admitted free.
