Charlotte, N.C. - The Charlotte men's soccer teams will play six matches in their 2002 spring exhibition schedule. The 2001 team reached the semifinals of the Conference USA Tournament and finished fourth in Conference USA during the regular season.

The 49ers begin their spring schedule by hosting a round-robin tournament on Saturday, February 23. The 49ers face UNC Asheville at 9:30 am. Then, UNC Asheville and Campbell will play at 11 am. The tournament concludes with Charlotte playing Campbell at 12:30 pm.

Then, the team travels to Greensboro, North Carolina to face UNC Greensboro, Thursday, March 21 at 7 pm in their next match. Then, Charlotte returns home to host Appalachian State, Wednesday, March 27 at 7 pm.

The team concludes their spring schedule with two matches against A-League competition. The 49ers will host the Charlotte Eagles, Wednesday, April 3 at 7 pm. Then, Charlotte concludes their spring schedule at the Charleston Battery in Charleston, South Carolina, Wednesday, April 10 at 6 pm.

Then, the final men's soccer activity of the spring will be the annual Alumni game, Saturday, April 13 at 12 pm. More details about the alumni activities that weekend will be forthcoming.
