Charlotte, NC - The Charlotte men's soccer team lost their final regular season match 4-0 to #14 Clemson.
Charlotte seniors Bryan Barber, John McDonough, C.J. Robinson and Page Sincler played their final home match of their careers.
Charlotte falls to 8-8-2 on the season. While Clemson improved to 13-3-1 on the season.
Clemson scored their first goal when Nathan Rawlins connected on a scoring shot in front of the Charlotte goal off assists from Fabio Tambosi and Pablo Webster at the 24:04 mark of the match.
Clemson increased their lead to 2-0 when Oguchi Onyewu scored an unassisted goal at the 46:08 mark of the match.
Clemson scored their third goal when Steven Rhyne connected on a goal off an assist from Pablo Webster at the 49:14 mark.
Clemson made the final score 4-0 when Ian Fuller scored an unassisted goal when he corralled a Charlotte defender deflections at the 60:07 mark.
Charlotte now travels to Saint Louis for the Conference USA Tournament which begins Thursday, November 9. Charlotte enters the tournament as the third seed. They will face the sixth seed Louisville in the first round at 6 pm on Thursday, November 9.
