Chicago, Ill. - Sophomore David McGill's header off a Shane Carew cross midway through the second half gave the 49ers a 2-1 Conference USA men's soccer victory at DePaul, Sunday afternoon. The 49ers, who have won four of their last five, improve to 8-7-2, 4-3-1 in C-USA with two games remaining.

The 49ers got on the board first, at 34:56, when junior Juan Munoz-Airey took a pass from McGill and scored. DePaul tied it at 1-1 just before the half on a goal by Chris Greer at 42:22.

On the 49ers game-winning goal, defender Omar Belkhiter found Carew who delivered the cross to McGill, at 63:47.

A schedule change caused by the events of Sept. 11 will take effect this week. The 49ers final home game, with top 10 Saint Louis, has been rescheduled for Wed., Nov. 7 at Transamerica Field. The 49ers conclude the regular-season at South Florida, Sunday, Nov. 11.
