Final Stats

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Charlotte men's soccer lost to Conference USA rival Louisville, 1-0, at Transamerica Field.

With the loss Charlotte falls to 7-7-2 overall and 3-3-1 in Conference USA. While, Louisville improves to 6-9-1 overall and 2-5-1 in Conference USA.

The match's only goal came when Louisville's Simon Bird scored a breakaway goal at the 32:08 mark of the match off an assist from Courtnay Commander.

Louisville outshot Charlotte 10-6. But Charlotte had two serious scoring threats in the second half but Louisville goalkeeper Jeremy Morales was able to stop the two shots on goal.

Charlotte returns to action at Conference USA rival DePaul this Sunday, November 4 at 2 pm.
