Final Stats

WINSTON-SALEM, NC - Charlotte falls to Wake Forest 8-1 in collegiate men's soccer action.

Charlotte fell to 4-5-2 on the season. While Wake Forest improved to 7-3-1 on the season.

Wake Forest scored the match's first goal when Jeremiah White scored off crosses from James Riley and Vicente Bastidas at the 16:12 mark of the match.

Then, Wake Forest added their second goal of the first half when James Riley scored off Brian Carroll's corner kick at the 35:19 mark of the match.

Charlotte cut the Wake Forest lead to 2-1 when Mira Mupier scored an unassisted goal at the 49:24 mark of the match. This marked the fifth straight game that he has scored a goal.

Then, Wake Forest scored six unanswered goals to win the match 8-1. White and Sealy each scored another goal for Wake Forest during their 6-0 run.

Charlotte returns to action at home on October 17 versus the Tar Heels of North Carolina at Transamerica Field at 7:00 p.m.
