CHARLOTTE, NC - The Charlotte men's soccer scored a goal in each half and played sold defense to open the season with a 2-0 shutout of Campbell at Transamerica Field.

Charlotte scored their first goal of the season when senior C.J. Robinson corralled a deflection from a Campbell defender and sent a shot over the outstretched hands of Campbell goalkeeper Billy Englishby at the 38:38 mark of the game.
