49ers Golf Finishes Tied For Eighth at ODU/Seascape Collegiate

Kitty Hawk, N.C. - Junior Andy Robertson shot a one-under par 71 in the final round of Old Dominion's 22nd Annual Seascape Collegiate to help the 49ers to an eighth-place tie in the 21-team field. The 49ers finished the two day event witht a two-round team score of 605 (304-301). UNC-Wilmington won the event at 569.
Robertson's 71 matches his previous career-best. Fellow junior Mike Shamp continued his steady play with a second round 74, matching his first round score. Shamp's two-round 148 was good for a tie for 22nd, individually.
Freshmen John Samaha and Scott McNeil and junior Mike Jolly each shot 78 in the final round.
The event wraps up the 49ers fall campaign.
