Toledo, Ohio - Junior Corey Nagy rebounded from a difficult first round to shoot an even-par second round as the 49ers posted a second consecutive round of +12, 296 at the PING/Golfweek Preview. Charlotte, the defending champion of the prestigious event which invites teams based on their NCAA finish and top 25 ranking, is in 12th-place after two rounds. Oklahoma State leads the 15-team field at nine-under par.
Nagy, a two-time all-America, shot an uncharacteristic 13-over-par 84 in round one, but posted an even-par round of 71 to lead the 49ers in round two.
Charlotte senior Stefan Wiedergruen, the defending individual champion of the event, is tied for 13th overall at one-over par following his second round of +2, 73. Wiedergruen shot -1, 70 in the first round.
Senior David Rawluk shot a second round of +4, 75 to card a two-round total of +7, tied with teammate Will Golden, a sophomore, who shot +6, 77 in the second round.
