Nagy Rallies As Niners Finish 6th at Aldila Intercollegiate
10/27/2009 - Charlotte 49ers senior all-America Corey Nagy shot a four-under par 68 to charge into a tie for 4th-place and lead the 49ers to a 6th-place finish at the Aldila Intercollegiate at Council Fire Golf Club. Nagy finished the three-round event at five-under par 211 to notch his second top five finish of the fall. Nagy won the individual title at the VCU Shootout. Loftsson Takes Aldila Intercollegiate Individual Lead After Two Rounds
10/26/2009 - Charlotte 49ers sophomore Olafur Loftsson shot a five-under par 67 in round two of the Aldila Scenic City Intercollegiate to take the individual lead into Tuesday's third and final round at nine-under par, 135. Charlotte is in fourth place in the 17-team field with a two-round total of four-under par. Wichita State and host Chattanooga share the team lead at 12-under par at Council Fire Golf Club.
