At Charlotte: In just two seasons Corey has become one of the most accomplished golfers in school history ... a two-time honorable mention all-America, a two-time all-Atlantic 10 choice, the 2007 A-10 Rookie of the Year and the 2008 A-10 individual runner-up, Nagy owns two of the program's top five single-season stroke averages ... ranked in the nation's top 50 at the end of his sophomore year.

Summer, 2008: Reached the quarterfinals of the US Amateur Public Links ... won the 3rd annual Carolina Am at Northstone C.C. ... Qualified for the 2008 US Amateur.

2007-08: Named honorable mention all-America by both the GCAA and Golfweek ... won his second straight all-Atlantic 10 honor and his 2nd straight GCAA all-South Region honor ... runner-up at 2008 A-10 Championships with a personal-best (strokes to par) 10-under par 206 to lead Charlotte to its third straight league title... Posted a 72.14 stroke avg. -- the 49ers second-best stroke avg. of the year and fourth best stroke average in school history ... was the 49ers top finisher at the 2008 NCAA Championship (+11, T16th), leading the 49ers to a tie for 8th-place (2nd straight Top 10 NCAA finish) ... had six top 11 finishes, including a first (Scenic City), second (A-10), third (The Prestige) and fifth (Palisades) ... ranked 46th by Golfweek and 47th by Golfstat in final 2007-08 polls ... notched his first collegiate victory: -9, 204 at the Scenic City Invitational at Council Fire Golf Club in Chattanooga, Tenn. to lead Niners to team title ... added a third-place finish at The Prestige at PGA West (-5, 211) ... placed 9th at the 28-player All-America Classic, where he won the PING Putting Contest Title.

2006-07: GCAA Honorable Mention all-America and a GCAA Freshman all-America (one of five players) ... A-10 Rookie of the Year and an all-Atlantic 10 performer ... GCAA all-South Region ... saw first action in the lineup in the spring semester but made a splash, finishing in the top six of five spring events before the NCAA Tournament ... shot -5, 211 as an individual at the Hackler Championships, placing 4th overall ... tied for 5th at Palisades (-5, 211) and placed tied for 3rd at the Courtyard by Marriott at NC State ... tied for 3rd (-8, 208) at the Atlantic 10 Championships to earn Rookie of the Year honors and help Charlotte to the team title ... went on to finish sixth at the Linger Longer (-5, 211) ... shared the team's top honors at +1, 217 at the NCAA Regionals to place tied for 7th ... was the Niners leader after three rounds at the NCAA Championships and finished at +4, 284 to tie for 35th as Charlotte finished 3rd ... four-time A-10 Rookie of the Week.

Previous Experience: Nagy was ranked 47th in the Golfweek/Sagarin Boys Junior rankings ... a three-time MECA-8 Conference Player of the Year, Nagy boasted top four finishes at the North Carolina 4A State Championships in each of his four seasons ... he finished tied for second at the state championships as a junior and senior, third as a sophomore and fourth as a freshman ... Nagy has twice qualified for the US Junior Amateur (2004 & 2006) and he placed fourth of the 156 who advanced to the 2006 final at Rancho Sante Fe Golf Club with a stroke play score of -5, 139 (71-68) ... he was eliminated in the round of 32 in match play ... he posted four top 10 finishes in the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) ...
