Nike Championship Basketball Clinic to be Held at UNC Charlotte

Charlotte, N.C. - The Nike Championship Basketball Clinic is coming to UNC Charlotte, Oct. 3-5. The Clinic, geared towards basketball coaches of every level, is entitled "On The Court With Players" and features some of the nation's top men's and women's basketball coaches.
"I have been a part of Nike clinics across the nation and they are an exceptional opportunity for coaches of all levels," said Charlotte 49ers head coach Bobby Lutz. "It is exciting to have this hosted on our campus."
The majority of sessions will take place at UNC Charlotte with on-the-court demonstration. Among the other coaches expected to participate: Jim Boeheim of Syracuse, Bob Huggins of West Virginia, Phil Martelli of Saint Joseph's, Dino Gaudio of Wake Forest, Thad Matta of Ohio State, Jeff Capel of Oklahoma, Jay Wright of Villanova and five-time NCAA Champion Geno Auriemma of Connecticut.
Sessions will include instruction in a variety of areas, such as "Plays for Your Players", "Trapping Defenses", "Player Development", and "One-on-One Competition to Enhance Practice".
