CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Charlotte 49ers men's and women's basketball coaches Bobby Lutz and Katie Meier will be the featured guests in two upcoming News 14 Carolina 11:00 p.m. sportscasts.

Second-year coach Meier, who led the 49ers to their best record since 1994 in her debut season, will be News 14's in-studio guest, Tuesday, June 25 at 11:00 p.m.

Lutz, who has led the 49ers to three NCAA Tournaments in his four years as head coach, will be appear on Tuesday, July 2.

News 14 Carolina (Time Warner Cable Channel 14) is the area's new 24-hour news station. The sports show, which airs every evening, is hosted by Mike Solarte and takes calls from viewers.
