CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Charlotte 49ers basketball fans will be treated to a pre-game giveaway and a thrilling halftime show to add to an exciting NCAA Basketball game this Saturday, February 23 as the 49ers men's basketball team takes on Saint Louis at 7 pm. The game will be broadcast live via CBS College Sports Network.

The first 2,000 student fans in attendance at the game will receive a green athletic head band featuring the Charlotte 49ers "C-pick" logo courtesy of American Express.

At the half, Pepsi presents David Chapman, known as Peter Rabbit, who has mastered the art of a drum style playing of five gallon buckets. This phenomenal talent has performed with the Neville Brothers/Summer Stage, numerous NBA halftimes & quarter breaks, and was part of the original Broadway and first National touring company of the Five Tony Award-winning smash hit "Bring in 'da Noise Bring in 'da Funk."

The 49ers (14-10), who sport a 10-3 home record this season, are led by tenth year head coach Bobby Lutz, who is currently tied as the all-time winningest coach in school history with 182 victories, along with senior captain and pre-season All Conference selection Leemire Goldwire (19.9 ppg, 4.5 rpg) and junior Lamont Mack (11.3 ppg, 4.9 rpg).
