With the victory Charlotte secured the #9 seed in the upcoming A-10 tournament. St. Bonaventure's loss, coupled with Richmond's home win over Rhode Island, eliminated the Bonnies from the A-10 Tournament.

Senior Travis Gordon, a four-year walk-on, played a career-high four minutes and nailed a jumper with 1:16 to play before being removed to a loud round of applause from the 49ers faithful. Fellow senior Jerell Jamison did not play due to a mid-foot ankle sprain suffered Thursday vs. George Washington.
