At Charlotte: Dunks, blocks and boards, Coley is a high-flyer who likes to play in the paint ... on the finishing end of many an alley-oop, Coley led Charlotte in each of the above three categories, while giving 49ers fans plenty to ooh and aah about. And get this -- he's flying with reckless abandon above the rim -- and he's afraid of heights.

Coley Up Close:

You are known for your high-flying dunks, including last year's dunk over a chair on top of a table at Basketball Madness.
What is the craziest dunk you have pulled off:
I jumped over a Nissan in a playground in Miami -- side to side, not the long way.

Do you have a favorite dunker in hoops history:
Dominique (Wilkins). He's the best. And MJ.

What is your vertical leap:
40-inch. I've touched 11 feet, nine inches.

Have you ever had a nickname that refers to your jumping/dunking ability:
"Go Get It." Because as long as the ball was by the rim, it was never a bad pass.

You came to Charlotte as a junior college transfer.
How has your game changed in just one year:
Completely changed. In junior college I was a scorer, now I'm more of a defensive presence. Now it's more about doing the little things to help the team win -- like taking a charge. I know how many charges I took in junior college: One. (7 in his first year with the 49ers).

As the team leader in dunks, you converted many amazing alley-oops.
What's goes into timing an alley-oop dunk:
A lot of times I have to wait for the ball to get there. During one (summer-league) game, the announcer said, "he's got an apartment in the sky," because I was up there so long waiting on the pass.

You led the team in rebounds and have a fair share of putback dunks.
You seem to be very active around the basket:
Sometimes it's just kind of a feeling for when the ball's around the rim and when it's coming off. I don't know, I just seem to know when it's coming off. I think the ball likes me.

Coley also led the team in dunks and blocks.
Which gets you more fired up, a dunk or a rejection: A block.
It's more of a thrill putting it in the third or fourth row. It can really be a momentum changer.
