Bowden Up Close:
A native of Greensboro, what landed you in Charlotte:
I knew about coach Lutz and I knew the system liked to run and got guards shots. I saw the campus at an AAU Tourney and had been to Charlotte a lot for AAU.

How are you approaching your freshman season/expectations:
I'm willing to do whatever I have to do. I'm trying to get down the little stuff, like spacing and continually remembering what I can and can't do against different guys. I'd like to get to the NCAA's. As for me as an individual -- that stuff will come on its own.

How comfortable are you taking shots in coach Lutz's system:
Coach Lutz lets you play with confidence as long as you take good shots. If the coach doesn't have confidence you feel it. But coach never says `stop shooting' or `you're off, tonight.' You're not going to miss forever and the teammates help push you up.
