Charlotte's defense forced 21 turnovers, including 14 in the second half and the 49ers used a 12-0 run to get back into the game. Trailing 54-32 with 16:29 left, Charlotte scored the next 12 points to cut the gap to 10, 54-44. Ian Andersen scored six points in the run that was capped by DiJuan Harris' three-pointer with 12:14 to play. The Bonnies still led by 10, 62-52 on a pair of Chris Matthews foul shots with 5:29 left before the 49ers rallied again to cut the lead to five, 63-58, on a pair of Andersen free throws with 4:03 to play. Charlotte would not get much closer, however.
