CHARLOTTE, NC - Adam Willard was named honorable mention Collegiate Baseball/Louisville Slugger freshman All-American. Willard became the eighth Charlotte baseball player to earn freshman All-American honors.

Willard finished his initial collegiate season with a .336 batting average with seven doubles, two home runs and 17 RBI. Willard's .336 average was the second highest on the team. He was pretty consistent the entire season as he had a .325 average in Conference USA games.
