AMELIA, OH - The Charlotte 49ers baseball team's final regular season game at Conference USA foe Cincinnati was cancelled due to rain in the top of the second inning. The 49ers had a 1-0 lead in a game that began with a steady drizzle. The game was called in the second inning due to inclement weather.

The 49ers, based on their winning percentage in Conference USA games, clinched the eighth and final spot in the upcoming Conference USA Tournament. The 49ers finished the regular season with a 21-26 overall record and an 11-15 mark in Conference USA.

The 8th-seeded 49ers will face top-seed Southern Miss, Wednesday, May 21, at 1:30 p.m. at Tulane's Turchin Stadium in New Orleans.
