Adam Willard enjoyed a career game in Charlotte's come-from-behind 9-6 win over #29 TCU last Friday. He posted his first career two home game. His second home run was a three-run shot over the right field wall which scored the game-winning runs in the eighth inning. Charlotte rallied with five runs in the eighth inning to win the game. This was the first time this season that Charlotte has won a game after trailing entering the eighth inning.
He finished the TCU series with three runs, five hits, one double, two home runs and five RBI. For the series, he had a .625 batting average with a 1.500 slugging percentage.
For the season, he currently has a .323 batting average with 31 hits, three home runs and 14 RBI.
Willard and the rest of the 49ers continue to make their push for a spot in
the Conference USA Tournament as they close out the regular season with a
three-game series at Conference USA foe Cincinnati, May 15-17.
