Justin Brown enjoyed his first career nine inning complete game pitching performance in Charlotte's 10-1 win over UAB last Saturday, May 3. He scattered six hits and allowed only one unearned run in the game. He only allowed four base runners to reach second base in the game. This was his second straight Conference USA win as he improved his season record to 4-1. Brown and the rest of the 49ers return to action this weekend as they host TCU in their final home series of the season at Kannapolis' Fieldcrest-Cannon Stadium, May 9-11.
