CHARLOTTE, NC - The Charlotte 49ers baseball team hosts instate foe #20 North Carolina at Tom and Lib Phillips Field, Wednesday, April 14 at 6 pm.

Charlotte continues to hit home runs at a record pace as they enter the North Carolina game with 45 on the season. Jamie Rusco leads the team with a career-high 10 home runs. Thomas Bowker has eight home runs and is closing in on Charlotte's career top-ten in home runs. Brian Scafe has already hit a career-high seven home runs. Freshman Kris Rochelle has made his presence felt right away with a .310 batting average and six home runs.

This game will mark the second meeting between the two teams this season. North Carolina won the first meeting, 12-5, last Wednesday in Chapel Hill.

Admission to the game is $5 for adults and $2 for youth 17-and-under. All Charlotte 49ers students with valid student IDs are free.
