Charlotte, N.C. - Icy travel conditions in Virginia and standing water at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium has forced another postponement of the Charlotte baseball home opener with the Virginia Tech Hokies. The two teams, originally scheduled to play Tuesday and later postponed to Wednesday, have announced a Thursday rescheduling of the contest.

The game remains a 2 p.m. start time and moves to Thursday. With windy conditions forecast for today, there is hope for the game to settle in on the Thursday date.

The scheduled starters are senior David Cross of Virginia Tech and junior Luke Stahl of Charlotte.
