Richmond, Va. - The Charlotte 49ers baseball team was listed as the team to beat in the Atlantic 10 by College Baseball Insider.com, as the league's coaches were polled by the Web site.

Poll answers were compiled and Brad McElroy, Chris Taylor and Zach Rosenbaum were listed as feared opponents by the rest of the league.

In 2007, the Niners won a pair of NCAA Regional games, the first-ever post-season wins in program history. The 2008 season begins for Charlotte at Robert and Mariam Hayes Stadium on Friday, February 22, when the Niners host Manhattan at 4 p.m.
