CHARLOTTE, NC - Charlotte dropped a hard fought decision to #11 Houston, 3-2 in their final Conference USA home game of the season.
Adam Willard, Brad Halvorson and Brian Bowman each had two hits for Charlotte.
Houston took a 1-0 lead when Thanos Papavasiliou scored on Sam Mitchell's single to right field in the second inning.
Houston increased their lead, 3-0, when Chris Snyder connected on a two-run single to center field in the seventh inning.
Charlotte made the final score, 3-2, when Brian Bowman and Adam Willard connected on run-scoring singles in the seventh inning.
Houston improves to 37-14 overall and 19-7 in Conference USA. While, Charlotte falls to 19-31 overall and 9-18 in Conference USA.
Charlotte plays their final home game of the season, Tuesday, May 14 as they host NC State at 6 pm.
