Landphair scattered five hits and allowed only one unearned run in seven and two-thirds innings to record his first collegiate win. Reliever Jacob Chaney threw a scoreless one and a third inning to collect his fifth save of the season.
"What a great atmosphere," Charlotte coach Loren Hibbs said. "It was a hard fought game and we won. Landphair was tremendous in his first career start. We couldn't have asked for a better performance."
