ROUND ROCK, Texas - Charlotte fell to future Conference USA foe Texas Christian, 10-1, in their second game at the Round Rock Express College Baseball Tournament.

TCU scored first with a run in the top of the second inning. TCU's Walter Olmstead led off the inning with an infield single. He would later score on an Austen Watkins fielder's choice.

TCU increased their lead to 2-0 when Jason Price connected on a solo home run over the leftfield wall in the fourth inning. TCU added two more runs in the inning to increase their lead to 4-0 after three and half innings.

TCU added another run in the fifth inning to increase their lead to 5-0.

Charlotte got on the scoreboard in the fifth inning when Brian Bowman led off the inning with a walk. He would later score Charlotte's run on George Sandel's first career extra base hit which was a double to left centerfield.

TCU would increase their lead to 8-1 with three runs in the eighth inning. Then, they closed out their scoring with two runs in the ninth inning to make the final score 10-1.

TCU pitcher Justin Crowder recorded his first win of the season. While Charlotte pitcher Mike Thompson fell to 0-1 on the season.

Charlotte will face Kansas in their final game of the Round Rock Express Tournament, Sunday, February 11 at 1 pm.
